For he was the bravest and most beautiful ... in all the land. And it is fated that his kiss ... would break the dreaded curse. 

A knight embarks on the journey of a lifetime, to the holiest of grails. Along for the ride: a small crowd of people, persons who are to deliver the knight's tale. Because a story that is not told never happened. The knight knows that. Confident and self-assured, the knight makes all the preparations and sets out. But soon the search for the Grail overwhelms him and he no longer seems to understand the signs he is following. The hero's journey threatens to fail. 

In "I Am the Knight You Love," Yara Bou Nassar, Johanna Benrath, Jenni Krass, Friedrich Schmidt and Eneas Prawdzic search for the Middle Ages in pop culture, for stories of hero:ins, and for solace in a life mission. Why do we still need the Middle Ages to tell us stories today? In a gentle solo performance, Yara Bou Nassar transforms herself into the knight we would all like to be: strong and deliberate, gentle and graceful, and audaciously romantic.
