Franco “Bifo” Berardi is an Italian writer, philosopher and cultural agitator. Co-founder of the magazine “A/traverso” (1975–1981) and of Radio Alice, the first free radio station in Italy (1976–1978). He was involved in the political movement of autonomia in Italy during the 1970s and worked with Felix Guattari in the field of schizoanalysis. His books of the 2010s in English: The Uprising: On Poetry and Finance (2012), And: Phenomenology of the End (2015), Heroes: Mass Murder and Suicide (2015), Futurability. The Age of Impotence and the Horizon of Possibility (2019).
Brandy Butler (born in Pennsylvania, lives in Zurich) studied Jazz Music at the University of the Arts. After receiving her bachelor's degree in 2001, she began teaching music to children. In 2003 Brandy went to Switzerland as an au-pair. Since then, she has been living in Zurich with her daughter and acts as a soul singer, performer and activist.At the Schauspielhaus Zurich and the Münchner Kammerspiele she then took part in theater productions directed by Christopher Rüping. With “Drag Story Time” (2019 now) she shows children the freedom spaces of identity and with “Free Thinkers Academy” (2019–now) those of thinking. Brandy Butler works as a performer in the ensemble at Theater Neumarkt in Zurich since the 2019/20 season.
Radha D'Souza teaches law at the University of Westminster, London. She is a social justice activist, a writer, critic and commentator. She is author of What's Wrong with Rights? (Pluto, 2018) and Interstate Disputes Over Krishna Waters (Orient Longman, 2006) and works with the Campaign Against Criminalising Communities (CAMPACC) in the UK.
